Guard Your Heart

Guarding my heart ❤.  

I just want to share what this means to me and how important this verse is to me.  To Keep my heart with all diligence I must stay close to Jesus.  I have no other option.  I value my heart.  I value my soul! To do this I have to keep my heart in check...I have to be in the Word as much as I can and communicate with God as much as my waking hours allow me.  I am not perfected in this practice, but this life is never going to be perfect.  I have to keep going back to the source to keep my heart healthy!

Matthew 10:37 was the verse picked this week.  Jesus says that if you put father, mother, sister, or brother over Me then you are not worthy of Me. At first, this verse threw me...why would this little verse mean so much to someone.  I worked on it through the week and it started to click.  Jesus was very serious about His love for us and these words are showing us how magnificent our relationship with Him can be.  To love someone so much that you put them above all else! I will take that kind of love.

Keeping my Heart

Guarding my heart or keeping my heart with all diligence.  What that means to me is staying in the Word, staying close to Jesus.  Everything in my life will spring from my heart.  What a beautiful thought to ponder on.  My life will be a reflection of where my heart is. I am ready to put this to work with all diligence!
